Replaces Glycogen and Replenishes Energy
-
Replaces Electrolytes
A high-carbohydrate drink mix for athletes pushing fuelling rates beyond what gels and bars can comfortably deliver.
What it is
A 94g sachet delivering 90g of carbohydrate in a 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio. The dual-transporter blend (SGLT1 for glucose, GLUT5 for fructose) allows absorption rates of up to 90-120g of carbs per hour - well above the ~60g/hour ceiling of glucose-only products. pH-neutral and lightly flavoured to stay drinkable over multiple hours without palate fatigue. 200mg of sodium per serving supports hydration during longer efforts.
When to use it
- Events lasting 2+ hours where you need to push past 60g/hour
- Long-course triathlon, Ironman, and ultra-running
- Multi-hour cycling - century rides, gran fondos, stage races
- High-intensity sessions where solid food won't sit well
- Anyone training the gut to handle higher carb intake
How to use it
Mix one sachet (94g) with 500ml-1L of water. Use 500ml for a stronger, more concentrated drink suited to cool conditions or low-volume fuelling. Use 1L for a near-isotonic mix that's easier on the gut in heat and supports hydration. For events over 4 hours, plan one sachet every 60-90 minutes depending on gut training and carb target. Rinse with plain water after to clear residual sugar from your mouth.
Key features
- 90g carbohydrate per sachet: Single-serve, race-ready dosing.
- 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio: Dual-transporter blend for higher absorption rates.
- 200mg sodium: Supports hydration during long efforts.
- pH-neutral, mildly flavoured: Drinkable over multiple hours without palate fatigue or enamel concerns.
- Isotonic at lower concentrations: Mix with 1L for easier gastric emptying in hot conditions.
- Zero fat and protein: Designed for fast digestion during exercise.
How this fits into your fueling plan
Most endurance athletes aim for 60–90g of carbs per hour, typically from 2–4 products. At 90g, this covers your hourly needs in one serving.
