Replaces Electrolytes
A high-carb drink mix delivering 60g of carbohydrates per serving in a 2:1 glucose-to-fructose ratio. Built for endurance athletes who need to hit serious carb intake targets without flavour fatigue.
What it is
Näak Boost Energy Drink Mix is a single-serve high-carb fuel designed for long, intense efforts. Each 64g packet delivers 60g of carbohydrates through a 2:1 glucose-fructose blend, which is the ratio supported by research for maximising carb absorption during exercise. It also includes 400mg of electrolytes (sodium and potassium) and uses an alkaline pH formula intended to reduce stomach acidity during prolonged effort.
When to use it
- Long training sessions and races over an hour
- High-intensity sessions where you need to hit 60g+ carbs per hour
- Ultra-distance events where flavour fatigue from sweet products becomes a problem
- As a base fuel in your bottle, alongside gels or chews
How to use it
Mix one packet (64g) with water in a bottle and sip steadily during your session. One packet covers roughly an hour of fuelling at the upper end of standard guidelines (30-60g carbs per hour), and is well-suited to athletes pushing toward 60-90g per hour on longer efforts. Start the bottle from the beginning of your session rather than waiting until you feel low - consistent fuelling beats catch-up fuelling.
Key features
- 60g carbs per serving: a full hour of fuelling at the higher end of endurance carb intake recommendations.
- 2:1 glucose-fructose ratio: uses separate transporters (SGLT1 and GLUT5) to push absorption beyond what single-source carbs allow.
- 400mg electrolytes: sodium and potassium to replace what you lose in sweat.
- Unflavoured: avoids flavour fatigue on long efforts and mixes cleanly with other products if you want to layer flavours.
- Alkaline pH formula: formulated to neutralise stomach acidity, aimed at reducing GI discomfort during prolonged exercise.
How this fits into your fueling plan
Most endurance athletes aim for 60–90g of carbs per hour, typically from 2–4 products. At 60g, this covers your hourly needs in one serving.
