A high-carb drink mix delivering 90g of carbohydrates per serving in a 2:1 maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio. Built for athletes targeting elite fuelling rates (90-120g per hour) on long, high-intensity efforts.
What it is
Neversecond C90 is a high-density carb drink mix designed for endurance athletes who need to hit serious hourly carb intake. Each 94g pack delivers 90g of carbohydrates from a 2:1 maltodextrin-to-fructose ratio, plus 200mg of sodium for hydration. The formula is isotonic at lower concentrations, pH-neutral, and uses a mild, low-sweetness flavour profile designed to stay drinkable across long efforts. Part of Neversecond's C-Series, designed to work alongside C30 Sports Drink, C30 Energy Gels, and S200 Sodium Booster for a complete fuelling system.
When to use it
- Marathons, Ironman triathlons, and ultra-distance cycling events
- Gran Fondos and gravel races where high fuelling rates matter
- Hyrox and other high-intensity multi-hour events
- Any 2+ hour session where you want to hit 90-120g carbs per hour from a single product
How to use it
Mix one 94g pack with 500ml, 750ml, or 1 litre of water depending on your sweat rate and conditions. Always add water first, then the powder - prevents clumping. Use the lower volumes for more concentrated fuelling, higher volumes when it's hot or you need more fluid. Drink steadily across an hour. If you need more sodium than the 200mg base provides, add Neversecond's S200 Sodium Booster.
Key features
- 90g carbohydrates per serving: hits elite fuelling rates (90-120g/h) in a single bottle.
- 2:1 maltodextrin-fructose ratio: uses separate transporters (SGLT1 and GLUT5) to push absorption beyond what single-source carbs allow.
- Isotonic at lower concentrations: formulated for rapid fluid uptake and minimal stomach load.
- pH-neutral formula: designed to reduce GI distress during prolonged high-intensity exercise.
- 200mg sodium: base electrolyte dose - pair with S200 Sodium Booster if you need more.
- Mild, low-sweetness flavour: built to stay drinkable across 2-20 hour efforts without taste fatigue.
May contain traces of: milk, soy, eggs, coconut.
How this fits into your fueling plan
Most endurance athletes aim for 60–90g of carbs per hour, typically from 2–4 products. At 90g, this covers your hourly needs in one serving.
